The connectors (labeled 3, Figure 2) and the extra pigtail wiring of the power amplifier must be tucked forward in front of the A/C duct work.
Turning these connectors on edge will allow for the proper installation (Figure 3).
NOTE:
THE COMPLETE ASSEMBLY, WITH THE FOAM WRAPPED CONNECTORS, MUST BE FORWARD OF THE DASH
PANEL OPENING SO THAT THEY CLEAR THE AREA OF THE POWER AMPLIFIER. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT
NOTHING INTERFERE WITH THE POWER AMPLIFIER, AND THAT IT FIT BACK IN ITS ORIGINAL POSITION
WITHOUT PLACING THE MOUNTING SCREWS UNDER ANY TENSION LOAD.
7.
Reinstall the power amplifier.
8.
Reinstall the top cowl panel.

1.
Remove the top cowl panel and trim pad assembly.
2.
Remove the power amplifier.
3.
Disconnect the power amplifier from the vehicle wiring harness and discard the existing foam wrap from the connector.
4.
Install the pop suppressor module and wiring, PN 4419188.
